Frontières is organised by the Fantasia International Film Festival, in partnership with the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes.

It is an international co-production market and networking platform specifically focused on genre film financing and co-production between Europe and North America.

In addition to its co-production market at Fantasia, which in 2025 takes place from July 24^th to 26^th with the participation of over 400 industry professionals, Frontières also hosts the Frontières Platform in May at the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes. Together, these initiatives foster creative and financial collaboration between key players in the global genre industry.

Since its beginnings, the Fantasia International Film Festival has explored the diverse realms of genre cinema, creating bridges between the cutting edge and the mainstream, and offering a festive yet professional environment where emerging talents share the spotlight with established voices.
