European Short Pitch is a pan-European platform empowering the next generation of short film creators.

Organized by the association P.O.V. Push Other Visions, European Short Pitch is an annual programme dedicated to discovering and supporting emerging European writers, directors, and producers throughout the development of their short film projects. Combining creative mentoring with international networking, the initiative helps participants refine their projects while building meaningful professional connections across Europe.

At the heart of the programme is the Coproduction Forum, where selected projects are presented to an audience of producers, distributors, broadcasters, sales agents, festival programmers, and other industry decision-makers. Alongside the pitching sessions, participants take part in targeted one-to-one meetings designed to foster new collaborations and international co-production opportunities. Since its inception, European Short Pitch has supported more than 350 projects, many of which have gone on to premiere at major international festivals, including Cannes, Berlinale, Locarno, Sundance, and IFFR. Why b.square?

For the 2026 edition, European Short Pitch once again relied on the b.square one-to-one meeting management platform to coordinate all professional meetings during the Coproduction Forum, held onsite on June 2 and online on June 4 and 5. 

Through an intuitive appointment booking system, b.square enabled participants to browse professional profiles, request meetings, and efficiently manage their schedules across both the onsite and online phases of the event. Each attendee benefited from a personalized agenda that combined one-to-one meetings with the Forum’s broader programme, ensuring a smooth and productive networking experience.
