Frontières is organised by the Fantasia International Film Festival, in partnership with the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes.

It is an international co-production market and networking platform dedicated to genre film financing and co-production between Europe and North America.

For the 2026 edition, held from July 23rd to 25th in Montréal, Frontières once again brought together over 300 industry professionals, including producers, financiers, sales agents, distributors, and festival programmers. The market featured a curated selection of genre film projects, one-to-one meetings, pitch sessions, industry panels, and networking events, creating valuable opportunities for international collaboration. In addition to its annual market at Fantasia, Frontières also hosts the Frontières Platform during the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes, further strengthening creative and financial partnerships within the global genre film community.

For the 2026 edition, b.square managed the scheduling of one-to-one meetings between Market Guests and Project Teams, enabling participants to set their availability, send, receive, accept, and prioritize meeting requests through an intuitive online platform. Once appointments were confirmed, each participant received a personalized agenda that could be downloaded, shared with colleagues, and synchronized with calendar applications such as iCal in just one click. The platform also provided organizers with powerful back-office tools to efficiently oversee the meeting schedule throughout the market.
