Incontra l’editor is where aspiring authors meet publishing professionals and ideas take their first step toward the page.

As part of the 2026 Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, held from May 14 to 18, Incontra l’editor offered aspiring authors the opportunity to present their unpublished manuscripts, receive professional feedback, and engage in one-to-one conversations with editors, literary agents, and publishers.

Designed to support emerging talent at the earliest stage of the publishing journey, the initiative created a valuable space for dialogue between authors and industry professionals. Through pre-scheduled meetings, participants were able to discuss their projects, gain insights into the editorial process, and establish meaningful connections within the publishing world.

Why b.square?

For the 2026 edition, Incontra l’editor once again relied on the b.square platform to organize and manage all professional appointments throughout the event.

Aspiring authors registered on the platform, submitted their project details in advance, and were able to browse the profiles and availability of participating editors. They then requested appointments directly by selecting their preferred available time slots.
